Museum for Art and Crafts, Magdeburg

Already in 1897 Friedrich Ohmann started to argue with Genre Museum about the revision of the Museum in Reichenberg (Czech Republic) project. In 1900 in cooperation with August Kirstein he accomplished a separate building of the Museum for Art and Crafts in Magdeburg. Growing industry wanted to demonstrate itself as a culture medium on the one hand, and on the other hand tried to perform as a patron of art.
